If you're catholic, then I suggest you visit the Haji Yakoub mosque. The place is situated west of Hotel Avesto and known as an Islam manifestation here in Dushanbe. The building was financed by contributions from Iran and Saudi Arabia and it is named after a Tajik religious leader who ran to Afganistan.I guess it'll be interesting to visit.
